12 CD: Finish the exit ticket sheet we distributed in class today, including the claim on the back. Your can reference this tool from class to refine your work: Reading the Gothic: A Reference Sheet
*If you missed any of the film and analysis days related to Get Out, you can make them up by watching the portion of the film you missed and completing a page of notes. Make sure your notes include observations from your viewing and synthesis.

1. Head on over the our AP site to read at least one secondary sources on the memoir you are reading. Take notes on the secondary source in preparation for your discussion tomorrow.
2. Prep for tomorrow's discussion. In order to be prepared, you should come with:
a. A theory or interpretation with at least 2-3 examples for the text to support that theory.
Ex: In the Introduction of Hillbilly Elegy, JD Vance seems to suggest that poor whites are an often overlooked population. This is evident in his descriptions of the stereotypes he references, such as..... AND in the historical information he provides about them.
b. A question to pose to your small group about the memoir.
c. An answer to the EQ of the unit: How is this memoir informing our understanding of the world?

AP Language and Composition - If you did not complete your setting analysis in class today, do so tonight. For a 3 (Proficient), answer all of the setting questions. 2. If you want to get a head start on your homework for the weekend, start your **Lit Review Card. You will also have a blog post based on the work we do together in class tomorrow.
