*Announcement: For anyone missing assignments, I would rather you do one of the options below than make up an assignment that was due weeks or months ago.

3. If you want to improve one of your writing assignment grades, you can complete one of the following options by Monday at 9:00 am. Each paragraph that meets all requirements will improve your grade up to a 85% for one assignment. Here are the options:

a.) Write paragraphs answering questions 26 or 27 on Regent's exams.
b.) Complete a Critical Lens essays for an increased grade on two assignments.

In order to receive credit, your response must fulfill all of the requirements on the checklist.

Homework:

1. This weekend, write a well-developed paragraph in which you use ideas from both Passage I (the autobiography excerpt) and Passage II (the poem) to establish a controlling idea about traditions. Develop your controlling idea using specific examples and details from both Passage I and Passage II.
