Weekend Homework

Do the Right Thing
Juniors - 1. Read the poem, "History Lesson" by Natasha Tretheway: Click Here. Annotate the poem, paying close attention to the speaker. Who is the speaker? What kind of person is he or she? How do you know? What is his/her attitude and where does it shift?
               2. Bring a photograph of yourself as a younger child, preferably with another person in it.

Seniors - You will need to finalize your questionnaire in class tomorrow. If it is far from finished now, you should get a start tonight.

AP Language: Open note rhetorical analysis. Set the timer for 40 minutes. Take 8 minutes to read with your resources and plan. Then, write for 30 minutes. Use the last two minutes to proofread. I will check it for completion and then you will choose whether to submit this essay of the one you completed last week for a score. I do not have an online copy of the prompt, so if you did not get it on Friday, please ask a classmate to take a photo or scan it and send it to you.
