Feel free to choose some that you would like to discuss. Discussion grading rubric can be accessed here: Rubric. Make sure to have the speech in class. You can find it online if you lost your copy.

- Who are the various audiences?
- What parts of the speech are effective for each audience?
- What are the most effective parts of the speech overall?
- What are the least effective parts of the speech overall?
- Is there anything that the speaker doesn't say?
- How does this speech help you understand the debate over the confederate monuments and the events in Charlottesville this summer?
