SENIORS: REQUIRED ASSIGNMENT
Students who understand that their intelligence is not fixed and that all students struggle with feelings of belonging tend to be more successful in their academic endeavors.
Read the following articles and write a reflection on how the articles apply to your own life. These reflections may be read by incoming juniors and seniors next year.

3. What are the main points of the articles? What evidence do the writers offer to support their arguments?
4. Write a personal reflections about your sense of intelligence and belonging. You may use the following question to guide you:
a. Do you believe your intelligence is fixed? How does the article challenge that idea or support your opinion?
b. What experiences in your life shaped your beliefs about your own intelligence?
c. When did you achieve more than you thought you could? What did you do in order to reach your goal or surpass your perceived limitations?
d. What are your biggest concerns about your future education? What could help you address those concerns?
