1. Write two five minute journals (did, saw, heard, drawing of the day). Do them at different times to ensure a variety of observations.
2. Spend ten minutes writing, using one of the following strategies: moment from the map you made in class, X journal, freewrite OR spend ten minutes drawing a person, event, or setting from a scene you want to use in a graphic novel.
