Essay on Our Town or The Laramie Project due on Tuesday.

Please bring a printed copy into class, formatted as follows:

• 12 point font, Times New Roman
• Double Spaced
• Name and date in left hand top corner 
• Title 

Be sure to check your work against the rubric in the essay resources section. I also recommend using the resources on introductions, body paragraphs and conclusions.

And a reminder that one of your paragraphs should discuss setting. Here are the functions of setting that may help you:

• Setting can enhance or contrast with a character's mental state 
• Setting can establish/affect the mood/atmosphere
• Setting makes the action of the story more or less realistic 
• Setting can represent an idea or concept 
• Setting can be a source of conflict
• Setting can shape the plot
