11/1 Weekend Homework and Book Browsing


11/1 - FINISH THE INDIRECT CHARACTERIZATION CHART THAT WE STARTED IN CLASS TODAY, ANSWER THE QUESTIONS UNDER THE CHART, AND WRITE A CLAIM USING THE PROMPTS PROVIDED IN YOUR GOOGLE DOC.

Objective: Literary scholars track indirect characterization through an entire text to determine the character's purpose in the work and how it helps convey a specific theme. Today, we will use and refine the technique of STEAL to develop a claim about a character.
