Seniors - Second draft of personal essay due in class on Friday.
12A and 12CD: On Friday we will workshop the second drafts of your essays in class. You are required to print five copies of your second draft BEFORE class. Essays that are not printed beforehand will have 15% subtracted from your grade of completion, which will be entered into the "papers, projects, and exams" category of the gradebook. Be sure to incorporate narrative, reflection, and transitions into your draft by using the resource distributed in class. I have attached a copy here: Narrative/Reflection/Transitions. Access to the narrative beginnings, endings, and sample essays are also available in the "Texts and Links" page on this blog.
12B: Scott has offered to print copies of your essays for workshop as long as they are shared with him by 8:00 am on Friday morning. AP Language and Composition:
1.) Read the speeches distributed in class today and complete the chart on the front of the packet (Packet).
2.) Read your history homework rhetorically. Be prepared to write a precis paragraph about it when you get to class on Friday. Review the parts of a precis paragraph in the link from yesterday's blog post.
