AP Language -
1. Some of you came to see me to ask for an extension on the blog post since I didn't mention a time in class yesterday. As a result, everyone has until 7:00 pm to post on whether Europe should shun Syrian refugees. Make sure to add to the conversation with your own informed viewpoint. Requirements and links are on the AP blog.
2. Read the debate on the issue you chose yesterday. BE SURE TO READ THE INTRODUCTION CAREFULLY FIRST because it provides context into the issue. Then, read the contributors short articles and take notes that capture all of the speakers' arguments:
- Who is the speaker?
- What is their argument? What does s/he say?
- Two pieces of evidence that they use to support their argument.
