AP Language

1. Use your notes to analyze three of the memes/advertisements in the slideshow at this link:Click Here. For each slide, discuss the exigence, the speaker, the subject, the intended audience, the purpose, and the methods of development (It's fine to do this in note-taking/bullet points.) Then, write a paragraph about which of three texts is most likely to achieve its purpose and why. Use details from the text to support your opinion.

2. Find a meme, image or advertisement that strikes you as particularly effective or worthy of rhetorical analysis. Print it or save it to your phone so that you can share it in class on Tuesday.

3. If you didn't get an invitation from me, join "Remind," an app that will allow me to send assignments and reminders directly to your phone (our numbers will remain anonymous): https://www.remind.com/join/k79ab7. If you do not want to receive messages on your phone, you can select your email instead.

Have a great weekend!
