AP Language
Homework: Read and take notes on the remainder of the introduction of "They Say/I Say" and complete the exercises at the end of the introduction on p. 14/15. Do not feel intimidated by question two. The template for the essay is included and only needs to be two paragraphs. What matters is what you put into the blanks of the template. Your answers should be meaningful and rooted in the text.

Extra Credit: Watch the Presidential Debates for at least 30 minutes tonight and complete one or both of the following tasks. Credit will be worth up to one reading quiz depending on the quality of the work.

Option One: Listen closely for the They Say, I Say structure in how Clinton and Trump respond to one another and the moderators and capture these assertions in your notes. How does their ability to summarize others' arguments and respond in turn influence your impression of the candidates?

Option Two: Summarize points made by Clinton and/or Trump and use the agree/disagree/little bit of both templates to respond.
