Homework and Checklist for Project

Classes 12B, 12CD, and 11A -- Your projects are due on Wednesday and must be printed or ready to display in class. We will be looking at each other's work in class and at least part of your grade will be determined by peer review. Here is the assignment: Paper Assignment
There are resources on the blog for each bullet point below. Use them!

Here are the components you need to have in your project:

• Introduction
• Organization of essay (chronological and/or by element AND layer cake or big chunky)
• Organization of topic sentences (uses transitions to connect the major sections of your paper/project) 
• Comprehension and completion of the texts is evident
• Evidence (either direct evidence in the paper or clearly represented graphic evidence in poster)
• Analysis of what the evidence says explicitly as well as what it implies 
• Conclusion (see conclusion powerpoint) 
• Edited for run-on sentences
• Edited for active, rather than passive vers
