Howdy Partners. Today is a day for revision.
1. Do now: Trade drafts with a partner and read each other's drafts with an eye for a balance of narrative and reflection. Discuss what you noticed. First, tell them your favorite parts. Then, tell them what you want to know more about. Suggest that s/he work on narrative or reflection today. Then, take your work back and read it aloud to yourself inside your head.
2. Now you are ready to take a tour through stations for revision! The following stations are aligned with the rubric and basic standards for strong writing. At the end of the period, you will turn in your draft and the revisions you complete in class. I will read the drafts with revisions tonight and meet with small groups tomorrow.
