Do the Right Thing - Read to the agreed upon page tonight. Annotate any lines that connect to the EQ you chose in class today and continue to pay attention to character development. There may be a quiz tomorrow. Be ready!
AP Language - No official homework tonight, but I suggest looking over model rhetorical analysis essays and resources as well as outlining in preparation for tomorrow's on-demand. Tomorrow's on-demand will be graded on the AP Rubric and will be written BY HAND: Rubric. You will NOT be able to use any resources on tomorrow's essay besides an outline. You may incorporate information, such as marker verbs, sentence stems etc. onto your outline.
Here are some samples from the college board: AP Rhetorical Analysis and some from class. I have put the strength of the essay next to each writer's name.
Nora - Analysis Frederick Douglass #1
Mariam - Thesis and analysis on the word and sentence level Frederick Douglass #2
Finally, most of the rhetorical analysis #3 essays are graded. Read the feedback and incorporate it into your planning and writing tomorrow.
