2. Read ch. 12-13. As you do, continue to track the motif you chose last week. Be ready to write three quotations that relate to it and analyze them when you come into class tomorrow.

A More Perfect Union by Barack Obama
Two Speeches by Michelle Obama - DNC Speech Supporting Hillary Clinton and Speech Denouncing Trump's Treatment of Women (This might be two short papers or a comparative paper)
RNC Acceptance of Presidential Nomination by John McCain
Then, spend about 30 minutes research the speaker you chose. Find as much information about her/him that you can and be ready to present your findings to the class tomorrow.
