Read to p. 91 in Carrie. As you read, collect evidence that demonstrates the setting and atmosphere AND the effect that the setting/atmosphere has on the characters, including Chris, her father, Mort etc.

Choose one of the prompts from class today and write the entire essay. Set the timer for 25 minutes and aim to finish in that time. You will turn it in tomorrow at the beginning of class. If you want to come in during lunch and get tips and timing from me, you can do it then. If you came in today, but want to do more practice tomorrow, you can also come in then.
