AP Language and Composition
1. Change your pupil path settings to view third quarter grades.

2. Blog posts due Monday, Wednesday, Sunday, Tuesday. Please see AP blog for prompts, or click here for the calendar:  Click Here

As I mentioned in class on Wednesday, you will be missing out on important practice if you do not read and write over exhibition week. If everyone completes the series of assignments, you will not have homework over February break. Please note that each of the blogposts will be graded. Blog posts that are submitted late will receive a maximum of 70%. Your first assignment is due on Monday, Feb. 1 at 9:00 pm. You can find the assignments on the class blog and on this google doc: Click Here

Your first blog post is on chapter 10 of Frederick Douglass and is due on Monday, Feb. 1 by 9:00 pm. Look at the prompts before you read and remember to draft your post on a google or word document beforehand.

Feel free to email me or come by with any questions.

3. Bring 5.00 on Wednesday, February 10 for our field trip to Othello in March.

4. AP Study Session: There is an AP study session on Saturday, March 5 hosted by the grant that funds our AP program. Attendance has been shown to improve students scores. 5. Extra Credit, due February 22:
Supplemental Readings on Rhetoric in the Presidential Campaigns

Read one of the articles below or find one on your own (I will add to the list. Send recommendations!) Read carefully and write a precis paragraph on it. Next, write a paragraph on why we should or should not read the article as a class. If you have a different idea of how to demonstrate your understanding, propose a different type of assignment to show what you learned.
