Based on the feedback you received in class today, revise your presentation/paper/lecture. I will start grading them on Friday.
AP Language: Read a poem and make your own quiz**.
1. Choose one of the following poems to read on your own. Read it multiple times, using the close reading process we have been practicing together. You can find it at this link: How to Read a Poem in Order to Extract Its Meaning
a. Daphne to Fair Apollo (Allusion to the myth of Daphne and Apollo)
Summary: In this poem, a young woman alludes the myth of Daphne in order to understand a traumatic event.
b. Musee des Beaux Arts (Allusion to Icarus myth) Be sure to look at linked painting as well.
Summary: In this poem, the speaker reflects on how the myth portrayed in the painting by Brugel highlights the way the Icarus's fall may have affected those around him.
