Finish Carrie by class tomorrow. As you do, consider:
              a. Which objects, characters, settings strike you as symbolic? Hint! Look for images, words, objects which are repeated or people who are presented as one-dimensional.
              b. How does each character's ending imply a sense of justice or injustice? Whose behavior is punished, rewarded or dismissed? Ultimately, who wins and who loses and why?

Be ready to answer these questions in a longer quiz.
