Today in class, we will be working in stations structured to give us practice applying the theoretical lens of the unit. Click here to review the stations and choose one to begin your work for the day! Everyone is expected to complete three stations.
Station Instructions
"Do the Right Thing" Homework:
1. Buy or borrow (from the library) Flight by Sherman Alexie. Alternatively, bring 12.00 to me by tomorrow and I will order a copy for you from Amazon. If you cannot buy the book or find it in the library, email me jcandlin@sof.edu and I will make sure you get a copy.
2. If you only completed one station in class today, do a second station at home.
AP Homework:
1. Re-read pgs. 1-7 in the text book (expect a quiz tomorrow).
2. Complete the SOAPS activity on pg. 7, analyzing George Bush's speech.
3. You do not have to bring your books to class tomorrow.
