Do the Right Thing:
Juniors - write a paragraph about how Amy Tan develops the characterization of the narrator in "Fish Cheeks." Use the paragraph checklist and progression to help you.
Seniors - Write 2 pages off of one of the prompts in the generating ideas handout or: Find a news story that makes you feel upset or very happy. Write a story about the people involved in that news story. Discuss their lives before the event and afterward.
