AP Language and Composition -
1. Revise your claim on how Emerson uses figurative language to make an argument about nature and write a fully developed paragraph to support it. This should be like the beginning of an essay. Paragraphs will be graded based on the inclusion of a clear and concise topic sentence, appropriate context, evidence and analysis (at least two or three sentences of commentary on evidence), and a concluding sentence that ties the paragraph to the argument.
2. Write a precis paragraph for Into the Wild (due Thursday)
Do the Right Thing -
11CD - Write a "how to" guide for writing an analytic paragraph about how an author develops a character. Make sure that it has no more than eight steps.
Seniors - Write 1-2 pages freewrite or from the ideas on the "generating ideas" handout.
