1. I will check the study guide from Ch. 3 of They Say, I Say on Friday. See instructions from last night.

2. Tonigh, watch the debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. As you watch, consider how each candidate appeals to ethos, pathos, and logos throughout the debate. Which answers are most persuasive and why? We haven't gone over logos yet, so do some preliminary research on your own and consult this cheat sheet: Click Here.

To get full credit for this assignment, you will need to either:

1.) Send three comments during the debate via remind messaging. I will invite you to the conversation by 5:00 pm.
OR
2.) Prepare a response with three comments from the debate and analysis of how the comments appeal to ethos, logos, or pathos. You may also focus on the absence of ethos or logos, explaining how a particular comment contributes to a lack of credibility or logic.
