DRAFT OF PAPER #3 Due tomorrow!
1. In order to receive full credit, you need to have a clear and concise claim, clear topic sentences that support your claim and a draft of your evidence and analysis.
2. Classes 12CD, 12B, and 11D -- Purchase a copy of Carrie ASAP. You need to have it in class on Tuesday.
3. Class 11A -- Please read the synopses of the books below and be ready to discuss which you want to read and why tomorrow in class. I am going to strongly suggest The Picture of Dorian Gray and Perfume for reasons I will explain tomorrow.

1. Take out the story you want to write about and any notes you have on that story: character work, discussion notes, annotations etc.
2. Read over the the organizational structures handout here: organizational structures for essays
3. Develop and refine a claim, using the charts in the room to help you.
4. Outline your paper: Claim, topic sentences, possible evidence
5. Start drafting your paper
6. Draft is due tomorrow
