1. If you are buying your own copy of The Picture of Dorian Gray or Sharp Objects, please have it by Monday. If you are buying a copy from me, please have money in class if possible. 4.00 for Dorian Gray/ 12.00 for Sharp Objects
2. Class 11D -- One page essay on Carrie organized chronologically or by element (see essay resources for examples and reminders). No formal introduction or conclusion required. It should have a clear claim and several body paragraphs that embed evidence. Remember to proofread for run-ons and use active voice.
3. Class 12CD and 12B -- A response on Carrie that clearly states one of the themes and discusses two passages that illustrate that theme. You can do it in your notebook.
4. Class 11A -- Read to Ch. 32 in Perfume. Quiz on Monday.
